Franco and his brother Arturo are two truly generous, funny and cheerful persons. We learnt a lot about planting different kind of plants, pines and also mushrooms. We spent a lot of time in nature and they taught us to value every living thing, no matter if it’s a plant or an animal. Our conversations were not only very interesting, but also profound and educational. We will come back for sure! Thank you for everything and hopefully see you in Europe next time ;)

Yasna, Christian, and their family live in a simple home, way out in the countryside (and far from other houses). Overall, though, the area is very quiet and beautiful. They welcomed me warmly and always made sure I was well taken care of with good food. I think the type of work depends on the season. During my week there, I helped Christian build a horse corral. It was sometimes exhausting, but definitely fun. There aren’t fixed schedules or plans for the day, which could certainly be a problem for some people, but I was able to adjust to it. I can definitely recommend a stay with Yasna and Christian.

Quinta Michay is an amazing place suitable for families, where everyone will find a work suitable for their age and capabilities. The house is very cozy, well planned where everything has its place making it very easy to use, both in the house (kitchen) and in the shed, both well equipped with all the tools needed. We had a very warm welcome dinner with Carlos and another wwoofing family. We were planning the work together with Carlos giving consideration to the priorities and our capabilities. We worked on our own, but Carlos was always around if we needed some advice or directions. The place he built and arranged is really nice. Kids spent a lot of time on the zip line, trampoline and enjoyed the fruits of eatible forest. At the time (March/April) we harvested and processed a lot of green tomatoes, apples, quinces and zucchini. We sealed a leak in green roof, took down the old shed and cleaned the area for new car park, shreded branches, made compost and a number of relatively simple electronic fixes and woodworking jobs (making shelfs, re-handling knives, making new wooden handles for the rocket stove door, troubleshooting Gorgar Flipper, mending the radio antenna socket, etc). Each weekend we were going for trips to discover this part of Chile. We had a lovely time and 3 weeks were perfect length for us even though time past very quickly. Carlos, thank you so much for having us and your hospitality! Quinta Michay will stay in our hearts!

Had an amazing 2 weeks with Paula, she is so welcoming and wants to make you feel at home. She has many things to teach you and has a fiery fun spirit. Fair work hours and we got to enjoy salsa classes, karaoke, and the pool in our free time. The work at the time we were there was focused on tasks around the farm and also building a house on the farm which were both enjoyable. We met incredible people and had a wonderful time, would highly recommend!

I had a really great time staying with Gonzalo during my WWOOF experience. He was very welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the time we spent together. I also really appreciated the many helpful tips he gave me for my onward travels, and he spoke very good English, which made communication easy. It was also really fun to play music together and go surfing, which made the experience even more special. I truly had a lot of fun and look back on it with very positive memories. Thank you Gonzalo for your hospitality and the wonderful time!

I really enjoyed my time at Benja's place! He was so friendly and upbeat, and always keen to share his knowledge with us. The tasks were fun, and the three weeks flew by, and I miss the place - the great people, amazing food and of course the creatures! Thank you!

Great woofing experience! Stayed 2 months as family with kids (5 and 8 years). Carlos is a great host! Very positive, flexible and listening. We did various tasks within gardening and housekeeping, which we could plan as it fitted into our daily routines. We also had a lot of interesting brain storming about his future projects. On a personal note Carlos is also very inspiring company. He has started a great initiative in his local community at Quinta de michay! Furthermore his positive mindset and constructive approach to life has really inspired us personally during our stay too!

My time with Esmerita and Lolo was incredible. I learned so much about how to live in the country. Esmerita is very nice and cooks very well. We did everything together. The work was sometimes difficult but never more than I could handle and when I hurt myself (a tiny bit) Esmerita changed my responsibilities. Lolo is very nice too and taught me so much about the plants. Even though he was difficult to understand he taught me how to clean and cook the fish I caught! Both have an incredible amount of knowledge about their surroundings and I loved my time there. I ate lots of bread!
