We are a multi-faceted ecological Project in 108 hectares of project plus 140 ones of native forest. In charge are Padma and Piero, two enhancers of environmental and personal ecology, along with other collaborators. Padma is the founder of the Foundation 108, which began operations this year (2025). The farm itself is the center of its activities. Its goals are conservation, education, and research. Lodgings available in the house. We have bedding, towels, sleeping bags, etc. There are electricity (100% off the grif), laundry, showers (watter from wells), hot water and dry composting toilet** (It is not a normal toilet. Please search on the internet what a dry composting toilet is, how to use it and how to maintain it.)  Support is expected in maintenance inside and outside the house, gardens and spaces, construction, carpentry, fences, afforestation, forestry, in projects as beekeeping, take care of the horses, dogs and chickens, and energy projects, irrigation, etc. Also we practice Boabom arts, archery and blacksmith. This is a quiet place that needs respect. No smoking. Our diet tends to be vegetarian, but not always, we are flexible. It works from Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 7 hours, between 9:30 a.m., lunch and rest, to continue in the afternoon to 18:00 p.m. (this varies a bit if it is winter or summer, or the work). Saturdays and Sundays free. We have internet, access available. There are many places to meet in free time, from beaches and cities to mountains and national park. The Wwoofers can also take workshops that are taught. To arrive from Santiago, take bus to Villa Alemana (prefer Pullman Bus line) and get off at Villa Alemana 1 ½ stop, agreeing to pick them up. Or the Metro Peñablanca. Welcome! Certifications: We are in the process of certification for the bee-keeping Current projects: • Maintenance, construction, garden, fences, forestry. • Archery and Boabom classes, an Art of Defense and Meditation  (US) www.bostonboabom.com • Ecoproduct, Honey production, 100% natural. • Farming, Organic Orchard for the house and Collonca chickens (Mapuche, native from Chile); we DO NOT eat them, only we use the eggs. • Maintain and train horses.

It was my first woofing and it was really great! Piero and Padma are really great ✨ The place and the animals are also adorable! The work is quiet, I mainly drew and painted, helped in the kitchen and cleaning. I really enjoyed discovering a lot of things, like tango, horseriding, seeing how they do with the bees,... In short, it was really good! Thank you so much :)

We looooved staying with Padma and Piero at 108!! It was our first time wwoofing at it set the standard and bar for future volonteering very high. We stayed little more than three weeks at 108. Our chores was simple: pruning trees protecting from wild fires, picking fruits, painting, taking care of all the animals (the 9 puppies will forever live in our hearts, and I am very sad we couldn’t adopt one), making lunch and helping with the mead/wax/honey production!! We had lots of free time for resting and playing ping pong or taking some nearby adventures. We felt very welcomed and they both always invited us to family BBQ, tango lessons, climbing and hiking! Super good family-vibes on this place and would wanna come back in the future 💓✌️

Padma and Piero offer a wonderful stay at Ecológico 108 and we would certainly visit again! Our two week stay felt too short as we easily settled into the comforts of their farm. They provide a great insight into sustainable living through their animal husbandry and waste management. The food was delicious and the company of our hosts and fellow volunteers was even better! Thank you Padma and Piero

Stayed for a week. Padma, Piero, and the rest of the team are good people. There are 6 dogs, 5 horses, and many chickens to feed. Walks with the dogs were lovely, and because there is a lot of land, a lot of exploring is possible. The work tended to be very flexible, and there was time to do my personal tasks/hobbies afterwards. I would recommend for someone looking to get away to do a bit of a farm stay. Most of the work is in maintaining the area and reforestation. The team are all instructors of a martial art called Boabom, so if you are interested you can learn it as well.
