P.A.O is a small agricultural company that produces a variety of organic fruits. It is a family, all of them are dedicated to production work. We have one hectare of certified organic fruit trees. Quillota is a beautiful city located in the Aconcagua river valley, close to the beautiful city of Valparaíso and some beaches in Viña del Mar and Concón. The accommodation is in a cabin, open kitchen and Mediterranean food. Help expected in many things according to needs and time of year. I had a wonderful 11-day stay and highly recommend this place! The setting is beautiful and very peaceful — the surrounding vineyards are perfect for walks. The place is truly restorative for those who enjoy isolation and rustic living. You live alone in the cabin, which offers a lovely sense of tranquility. The work was interesting and varied. The host shares his knowledge enthusiastically and you can tell he genuinely enjoys passing it on. One day was spent visiting a farm during a biological inspection — a really enriching experience. The host is responsive and available whenever needed. A few important practical things to know before arriving: the cabin has no electricity, the mobile signal is very weak (Entel), and hot water is available every other day. The nearest shop is 26 km away. Day-to-day life requires a fair amount of energy: you need to collect firewood and regularly deal with issues related to the water system. Regarding food, the host does not cook — a bag of provisions is provided at the start of the stay and you prepare your own meals. An ideal experience for those comfortable with rustic, self-sufficient conditions and who have an interest in beekeeping and organic farming practices.

I had an amazing time with Dennis. The work consisted of helping with random projects on a fruit farm. I learned a lot about organic farming and about agriculture in general. The house where I could stay was very nice, large and complete with kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Above all, Dennis is good company and gives a lot of freedom in the tasks to carry out. Would recommend!
