I had an amazing stay in Cerro Azul ! Luis and his team were super welcoming. I felt immediately part of the team. The farm itself is huge and very beautiful, the work they do at Cerro Azul, is very important in terms of regeneration, animal welfare, and social impact (they work with a school in their district). The accommodations are LUXURIOUS ! I had a full 4 bedroom home fully furbished just for me! All the building are in a German cabin style, very cosy. All the food was provided for, the meat from the farm is excellent. The workdays alternate between helping at the garden, and helping with the cattle (moving, tagging calves, sorting...). Sometimes we worked on horseback, sometimes in truck or ATV. I personally really enjoyed being a cowboy for a bit ;) I've also enjoyed long meaningful conversations with Luis on a variety of topics. A true regenerative and holistically managed farm. I highly recommend it !

I spend 3 weeks at Cerro Azul and I had a great time! The work was very diverse, working with the animals, in the garden or on the field. It was fun as well as interesting because especially in the garden, you could see the working progress and learned many new things. Also, the people at the farm were great! I felt welcome and imediately like a part of the Cerro Azul team. It was my pleasure to be able to volunteer at Cerro Azul and I am thankful for the experience!! If I have the chance, I would love to vistit the farm again :) In my opinion is volunteering at Cerro Azul 100% recommendable! Thank you Dominique for the opportunity

As a first time WWOOFER, I can’t imagine a better experience than my time at Cerro Azul. Dominque and the team were kind and patient as they shared with me the background and mission of the farm. Their commitment and passion to regenerative farming is contagious. With the farm taking a holistic approach and continuously taking on new projects (e.g. regenerative bee keeping and agroforestry) - the opportunities to learn are endless. Dominique and the team were transparent and extremely communicative about the opportunities on the farm, working with me to best align with my interest and where help was needed. I’m so grateful for this experience and can’t recommend it more highly. If you have questions, Dominique is happy to take a call and share more about the farm to see if it’s a good fit. Thank you Cerro Azul for everything - I’m excited to follow along on your journey and see how this farm continues to grow 🥰.
